CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an Audit Director to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Joining the Board of Directors, the successful applicant will oversee the planning, execution and successful completion of audit assignements in accordance with The International Standard on Auditing (ISA). Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other closely related fields, who are full members of a recognised accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA). You will need to possess a minimum of 3+ years of post-qualification experience in the audit field, with excellent client service skills. Fluency in both Greek and English are essential. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Planning, execution, and successful completion of audits in accordance with IFRSs and ISAs.
• Performing audits for both internationally based and local clients.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Prepare Income Tax computations.
• Prepare and submit Corporate Income Tax Returns. and preparation of tax computations.
• Manage multiple assignments and be able to work under pressure.
• Reporting to the management of the firm.
• Communication with clients.
• Obtaining tax clearance certificates for clients and communicating with the local Tax Department as requested.
• Preparation of Transfer Pricing Studies and other reports on behalf of the clients

Key Skills/Experience:

• Holding a related university degree will be considered an advantage.
• Be an ACCA/ACA/CPA qualified accountant with a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in an audit firm.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and audit software; Sage and Caseware are considered as advantageous.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Greek language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to engage, monitor, and supervise AML and compliance procedures using EBOS software.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of personal income tax, corporate income tax, and VAT laws and regulations, including knowledge of TAXISNET, TAX PORTAL, and TFA platforms.
• Knowledge transfer pricing his would be highly advantageous.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision.
