CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a luxury hotel resort in Paphos, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Accountant to join their growing team. The successful candidate will handle a variety of accounting and finance-related duties including the preparation and processing of all journal entries in the accounting and payroll system, as well as the preparation of the monthly profit and loss statement. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or another related field, who possess approximately 2+ years of proven accounting experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English are essential. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Preparation and process of all journal entries in the accounting and payroll system.
• Preparation of monthly profit and loss statement.
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet.
• VAT submission.
• Preparation of payroll and related actions.
• Preparation of all payments of the hotel.
• Creditor’s reconciliation.
• Reconciliation of bank accounts.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or in any other related field.
• Approximately 2+ years of proven accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of MS Office, including MS Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to keep information confidential.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• A strong team player attitude and ability to work within strict deadlines.
