The Security Team ofthe Central RiskDepartment of Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus is seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator, at the level of Experienced Associate, based in our Nicosia office.

The Team

The Central Risk Department is handling matters pertaining to Compliance; Regulatory; Anti-Money Laundering (AML); Ethics; Anti-Corruption; Independence; Security and Risk Management for the entire Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus region. The Security Team of the Central Risk Department is responsible for matters such as Information Security (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability), Business Continuity, Travel and Physical Security as well as Occupational Health and Safety. This is a unique opportunity to engage in cross-border collaboration with Deloitte professionals across the Deloitte network, broadening your knowledge and building your competencies and skills.

The Project Coordinator Role

The successful candidate’s key responsibilities include, among other:

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for security projects, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.

  • Schedule regular meetings and record decisions (e.g., assigned tasks and next steps).

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, and provide regular updates on project progress.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans and status reports.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, and identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in any field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in project management, with a focus on security or privacy projects.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Strong understanding of security and privacy principles, regulations, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills.

  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
