If you’ve been searching for an opportunity that will put you on the fast track to career success, you’ve just found it. Finspec Services Ltd has an exciting, full-time career opportunity for a Payroll Officer on-site role in Limassol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of monthly payroll for a portfolio of clients, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring timely payment of salaries, social insurance contributions, and taxes.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Receive payroll monthly changes (new employees, terminations, salary changes etc.) from the HR department and proceed with the preparation of the monthly payroll.
  • Processing of the payroll including calculations of salaries, overtime, deductions etc.
  • Collaboration with other departments.
  • On-going updating of the payroll software including all the information received from the HR department.
  • On-time payment of Salaries, Social Insurance contributions, and tax payments.
  • Liaising with any payroll-related queries that might arise.
  • Ensure that the employees get paid on time according to their contract (ie. salary, payment date).
  • Preparation of monthly payroll reports and any ad hoc reports that might requested.
  • Providing pay slips, IR63 to the employees.
  • Checking of IR59 forms to be completed correctly by the employees.

Working Schedule: Monday to Thursday 09:00 - 18:00 with one (1) hour break and Friday 09:00 – 15:00 with half an hour break.

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following subjects: Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in payroll processing will be considered as an advantage.
  • Knowledge of any payroll software will be considered as advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, multi-tasking, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Team player, able to work under pressure, problem-solving.
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek language, both written and oral.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
