THE COMPANY

On behalf of our client, a leading medical supplier Company, we seek to recruit a dynamic and high calibre professional for the position of Sales Manager, to be based in Nicosia.

THE POSITION

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and developing strategic partnerships with Company’s clientele.

More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst other:

  • Propose, develop and execute sales growth strategies and action plans, in order to meet the Company’s sales and revenue targets
  • Ensure significant lead generation for the Company, chase and conclude on key sales opportunities
  • Lead, mentor and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales goals. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance evaluations to ensure the team's success
  • Communicate to the sales team the strategy and business plan and provide guidance and direction in order to ensure its successful implementation
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients; identify customer needs and develop customized solutions to meet their requirements
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Company's products and services
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive threats
  • Attend local and international exhibitions and networking events and effectively represent the Company and promote and communicate the unique proposition of the Company
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budget projections, and performance reports for senior management and monitor sales metrics and KPIs to evaluate performance and take proactive action when necessary
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, logistics and finance, to streamline processes, resolve issues, and enhance the overall customer experience
  • Ensure full compliance with quality standards, Company policy, applicable laws and regulatory requirements and monitor that all related administrative tasks and filing are performed effectively and timely
  • Promote a culture of positive staff morale, high-performance, agility and accountability, so as to attract and retain talented individuals

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or in any relevant field
  • At least ten (10) years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably in the medical sector
  • Deep understanding of the medical industry, including healthcare regulations, market dynamics and customer needs
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend conferences and participate in industry events
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills
  • Impeccable lead generation, negotiation, networking and representation skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Strong representation and communication skills
  • Ability to perform in a highly dynamic environment with strict deadlines
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both written and verbal
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.
