Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Cook who specializes in pizza but is also proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a wide range of dishes, ensuring that all meals are made to the highest standard of quality and taste. This role requires a passion for culinary arts with a specific talent in pizza making, complemented by a broad culinary skill set.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook pizzas, ensuring each batch meets our high standards for quality and taste.

Craft a variety of menu items, including entrees, sides, and desserts, following exact recipes and presentation specifications set by the restaurant.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to sanitation regulations and safety standards.

Manage food inventory and supply orders, ensuring the kitchen is stocked with necessary cooking ingredients and tools.

Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timing to deliver a seamless dining experience.

Handle, store, and rotate all products properly in accordance with health and safety standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cook with specialized skills in pizza making.

Proficient in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

Excellent understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

Familiarity with industry best practices and health and safety rules in the kitchen.

Culinary school diploma or equivalent hands-on experience in a professional kitchen.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and take direction from senior chefs.

Team spirit, with a customer-oriented approach.
