CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected Audit & Accounting Firm with offices in Larnaca, we are seeking to recruit a Trainee Auditor to join their growing team. The successful applicant should hold a relevant academic background relating to Accounting/Finance/Economics or a similar field, and have the desire, willingness, and commitment to pursue the ACCA qualification and embark on a career as an Auditor. As part of your role, you will join a team tasked with handling Audit engagements for both local and international clients. Fluency in both Greek & English is essential. Any previous experience in the Audit profession will be considered an advantage.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform independent audits of small and medium size companies and manage a portfolio of international and local audit clients.
• Assist with the planning, execution, and successful completion of audits in accordance with IFRS and ISAs.
• Regular reporting to a Supervisor/Manager about status, progress, and completion of audits.
• Communication and relationship establishment with clients.
• Perform other job-related duties.
• On the job day to day training.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Holder of bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Economics etc...).
• Any experience in similar role is an added advantage, but not essential.
• ACCA student with the willingness and commitment to complete the qualification.
• Excellent communicating skills.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to learn and develop under guidance.
