An international company with expanding operations in Cyprus is seeking to employ a Financial Specialist / Economist to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for interaction with banks and working with bank-client systems, as well as planning and controlling the company’s cash flows and interacting with the company’s accountants and auditors in an efficient and effective manner. You will need to have a knowledge of spoken and written English and Russian, to be an experienced MS Excel user, and possess a proven work experience as a Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst or relevant role. Remuneration package will be based on your skills and experience.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

• Interaction with banks: ensuring the functionality of bank accounts of a group of companies (opening / closing, maintaining legal files (making changes, changing signatories, etc.)), working in bank-client systems (making payments, receiving statements);
• Planning and control of the company’s cash flows, drawing up a payment calendar, interaction with the commercial department;
• Interaction with auditors and accountants;
• Documentation of transactions and operations, control of document flow within the scope of competence.

Key Skills / Experience:

• Proven work experience as a Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst or relevant role;
• BS degree in Finance, Economics or related field;
• Understanding of financial and accounting principles;
• Experience working with legal entities and maintaining company bank accounts is required;
• Knowledge of English and Russian languages is required (spoken, written);
• Experienced user of office programs, especially MS Excel;
• Flexibility in solving of assigned tasks;
• Responsibility, attentiveness, ability to work with a large amount of information, analytical mind, focus on results.

Remuneration is based on skills and experience;
Employment under an employment contract (a work permit in Cyprus is required);
