COMPLIANCE OFFICER

M. Papadakis & Co, a firm of qualified public auditors and accountants regulated by ICPAC, the country’s supervisory body, with extensive experience in auditing, international tax planning and consulting for a large number of clients both local and international is seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join our team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance with local and European AML regulations.
• Collect and review client information to comply with local and European requirements.
• Communicate with clients and updating client files.
• Organise and manage client transactions, monitoring for AML compliance.
• Prepare and update existing policies and procedures of the company in relation to AML.
• Conduct KYC verification process for corporate clients.
• Conduct compliance monitoring of clients and third parties.
• Report to Management on matters related to internal AML and other policies and procedures.
• Training of staff and preparation of in-house seminars for employees.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics or ACA / ACCA qualification
• 2+ years’ experience in the field of AML
• AML Certification by ICPAC
• Excellent command of English both verbal and written
