Advance Career, on behalf of our clients, an established Marine Construction services, is seeking to recruit a Chief Accountant;

Responsibilities:
Manage all financial books and records and trial balances for the group entities,
ensuring they are maintained in an accurate and timely basis, assuring their integrity
Own the monthly closing processes, in collaboration with standalone companies’
accountants and others within the business to ensure the accurate and timely
consolidation and production of financial statements
Manage the group’s accounting policies including compliance with existing policies
and implementation of new policies as appropriate
Management of the group’s internal controls over financial reporting
Supervise and allocate the work of the Accountants to ensure that all tasks are
completed within prescribed timescales
Identify any training and development requirements within the accounting
department and ensure these are met

Qualifications:
ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant.
Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar position.
Fluency in Greek and English both written and oral.
Computer literate with experience of MS Office.
Dynamic, results-oriented, self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Must be able to work individually as well as as part of a team.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
