The successful applicant will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, and high performing React applications whilst staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science who possess proven development experience working with React and its related libraries. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design and develop efficient and maintainable React applications using the latest React features and libraries.
• Utilize TypeScript to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Work closely with senior developers to understand and implement application architecture and best practices.
• Integrate with backend services and APIs using asynchronous programming and RESTful principles.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
• Implement styles using SCSS or other CSS methodologies to enhance the application's look and feel.
• Optimize components for performance and reusability, following best practices and industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in React and related technologies, applying them to enhance project outcomes.
• Implement unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues to improve application performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience as a mid-level React developer with a good understanding of React and related libraries.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript for writing maintainable and type-safe code.
• Familiarity with modern CSS methodologies and libraries, such as SCSS, CSS-in-JS, or utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, and integrating with backend services.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
