CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies with diverse business interests, including the provision of Cyber Security & Data Analytics solutions to global clientele, we are seeking to recruit an OPSEC Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As an OPSEC Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to protect web servers, file servers, online servers, and conducting forensic investigations when security incidents occur. Your role will also involve contributing to both the Blue and Red Team efforts for web applications. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Security, or another closely related field, who possess proven experience with web server security, file server protection, and online server security. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Design and implement security controls to protect web servers.
• Perform security assessments, including both Blue and Red Team exercises, to evaluate vulnerabilities.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents related to web servers.
• Manage and secure file servers to prevent unauthorized access.
• Implement access control and encryption measures.
• Conduct regular audits of file server permissions.
• Ensure the security of online servers, including cloud-based services.
• Configure and maintain security tools to detect and respond to threats.
• Collaborate with cloud service providers to enhance server security.
• Lead and conduct forensic investigations when security incidents occur.
• Gather digital evidence, analyse logs, and establish root causes.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for remediation and prevention.
• Work collaboratively with the Blue Team to defend against security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Participate in Red Team assessments to simulate real-world attacks and identify weaknesses.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve web application security based on Red Team findings.
• Develop, review, and update security policies and procedures.
• Train staff on security awareness and best practices to enhance OPSEC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security objectives.
• Participate in incident response activities and contribute to post-incident reviews, investigation to provide lesson learned and product improvements.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience in web server security, file server protection, and online server security.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java-Script, Bash).
• Up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and security trends
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network protocols, and security tools.
• Experience with forensic investigation techniques and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
