CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most well established and highly regarded providers of IT Services & Solutions to a wide range of clientele, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Software Developer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant should be educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology or another closely related field and will need to possess approximately 3+ years of previous experience as a Software Developer. You will need to possess advanced knowledge of either Java and/or C#, as well as strong skills in SQL. Knowledge of Front-End development concepts is required, and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Design, write, debug, test and deploy software.
• Provide software architecture suggestions.
• Work on both greenfield projects and support/maintain existing applications.
• Create PoC where necessary.
• Communicate with business stakeholders to understand their requests and suggest solutions.
• Review code and provide feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve possible defects.
• Share your knowledge with the rest of the team.
• Coach other people in your team.
• Participate in Scrum events.

Key Skills/Experience:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3+ years of previous experience as a Software Developer.
• Expert in crafting software in either Java or C#.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, Git.
• Good understanding of Front-End Development.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, concurrency and multithreading.
• Experience in designing, building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience developing Microservices will be considered an advantage.
• Experience with Java will be considered an advantage .
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritise well and work well under deadlines.
• Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English.
• Creative engineering,  balanced with high quality and customer focused.
• Strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions.
