Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team at WiseWorld Analytics Limited. The primary responsibility of this role will be to produce engaging and informative educational videos focused on the effective utilization of our platform. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent storytelling abilities, and proficiency in video editing software.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing and content creation teams to develop concepts and scripts for educational videos.
• Edit raw footage to create high-quality videos that effectively communicate key features and functionalities of the WiseWorld Analytics platform.
• Incorporate animations, graphics, and other visual elements to enhance video content and maintain brand consistency.
• Ensure that all videos adhere to established style guidelines and meet quality standards.
• Optimize video content for various platforms and devices to maximize reach and engagement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and incorporate new techniques to improve the quality and effectiveness of video content.
• Manage video projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to video content as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
• Excellent storytelling and narrative development skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality video content.
• Bachelor's degree in film production, media studies, or a related field (preferred but not required).
