Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Payment Solutions Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our payment operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of transactions and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting approval ratio reports, ensuring smooth flow of payment processing, monitoring agent approvals and facilitating processor changes as required. Your expertise in payment systems and strong problem-solving skills will contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our payment operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Approval Ratio Reports: Analyze approval ratios for payment transactions, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to enhance business operations.
• Decline Issue Investigation: Investigate declined transactions to pinpoint potential issues or errors in the payment process, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
• Payment IQ Flow Updates: Stay abreast of changes in payment processing regulations and collaborate with the team to implement updates in our Payment IQ system.
• Agent Approval Monitoring: Regularly assess agent approval performance, providing feedback to improve overall approval rates.
• On-Demand and Scheduled Reporting: Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests and maintain scheduled reports to deliver critical payment operation metrics accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

• A postgraduate degree or master’s in business administration, Finance, Data Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Software Engineering, or any other related field, or any other qualification that demonstrates expertise and understanding of payment systems.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel, including Macros, Power Query, and familiarity with DAX programming language.
• Experience with Payment IQ, Power BI or similar analytics tools will be considered as an advantage.
• Fluent in the English language, both verbal and written
