Senior IT Support Officer

The Ermes Group, the largest and most diversified retail organization in Cyprus, member of the CTC Group, seeks to recruit a Senior IT Support Officer in Nicosia.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage and administer:
  • Windows Servers, Active Directory and related services
  • SAN and NAS storage devices
  • Microsoft Hyper-V and VM-Ware virtualization platforms
  • Backup and recovery services
  • Network equipment
  • Microsoft cloud services. (Office 365 Platform and Azure)
• Ensure the security of IT Services and Infrastructure
• Ensure the efficient functionality of all IT hardware equipment and diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Overview and administer ticketing system
• Develop and update existing technical documentation
• Provide support to end-users
• Offer any other related services as requested

Skills and Qualifications

• Bsc/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems or other relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Physical and virtual servers experience
• Strong knowledge in Windows and Active Directory management
• Ability to prioritize, organize, analyze and solve problems
• Knowledge and ability to deploy solutions based on both current trends and capabilities, as well as mainstream forms/providers
• Multitasking and able to work under pressure with good communication skills
• Team player
