CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most well-known and respected retailers of technology-related products to consumers across the Island, we are seeking to recruit a Payments Officer to join their growing Finance Team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant should be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another closely related field, and will need to possess proven experience in supplier payments, with excellent numerical skills and high proficiency with MS Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Execute payments to suppliers based on ageing analysis.
• Reconciliation of supplier accounts.
• Recording accounting entries in the company's software system.
• Undertaking any other related office tasks.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another closely related field is desirable.
• Proven previous experience in supplier payments is essential.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Previous experience working with Accounting Software and/or ERP systems is highly desirable.
