Data product professional to help us build and drive our AI & Data platform for Amdocs portfolio to create significant value and differentiator.

What will your job look like?

• By understanding the market, customer challenges, and our product's unique abilities, you will have the opportunity to differentiate Amdocs vs. the competition.

• Other activities include competitive analysis, early validation activities, and retrospective win/loss analysis.

• Help us define, validate, and eloquent product projections over the next 1-3 years (product roadmap), including product strategy at the portfolio and corporate levels.

• Use your data expertise and deep market understanding to innovate and launch capabilities that will solidify our competitive edge.

• Translate market & technical knowledge, product strategy, and business cases into a successful product plan.

• Define and own the accurate product readiness plan to ensure that the business is ready to sell, deliver, and support the product.

• Support sales channels as the product and market specialist for the applicable product(s).

All you need is...

• At least 5 years of experience in data management, big data, and data analytics space with a focus on the core platform foundation layer

• At least 2 years of experience in product management delivering successful software products preferably in the telecommunication industry (B2B businesses)

• Experience in driving products through a matrix of R&D, Sales, Marketing, Finance delivery teams, and Customer stakeholders.

• Experience in supporting Pre-Sales activities and customer accounts/engagements.

• Experience in analysis of market trends and customer needs in a relevant industry (or major enterprises), preferably with experience in the telecommunications industry.

• Experience working with Engineering teams as a Product Manager and have demonstrable experience leading cross-functional teams to define, execute and iterate on large multi-team, multiquarter projects.

• Deep data understanding, including:

• Data Engineering Knowledge: Understanding of dimensional data modelling, ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and data streaming services could be beneficial.

• Database Proficiency: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, understanding of database design, and knowledge of query optimization.

• Data Integration Expertise: Experience with data integration tools and platforms, understanding of APIs, and ability to work with different data formats (like JSON, XML, etc.).

• Data Analysis Skills: Ability to work with data analysis tools, perform exploratory data analysis, and generate insights from data.

• Familiarity with Data Low-Code Platforms: Understanding of how low-code platforms work, and how they can be used to simplify data engineering tasks.

• Understanding of Analytics and Machine Learning: While not always required, having a basic understanding of analytics and machine learning concepts can be beneficial as it can help in building data products that are ML-ready.
