On behalf of our client, an elegant opulent luxury hotel, we are seeking to recruit a high caliber and experienced candidate for the position of Reservations Manager, to be based at our client's premises in Paphos.

Job Duties
Reporting to the Hotel’s General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Reservations department and upholding a consistently high standard of customer service in alignment with the hotel’s guidelines and standard operating procedures. Specifically, the successful candidate will:

Ensure a high standard of customer service.

  • Ensure the proper accomplishment of daily tasks within the Reservations department.
  • Collaborate closely with the Front Office Manager and Resident Manager to define levels of overbooking and walkouts.
  • Ensure that group reservations and VIP reservations are handled according to the hotel’s standards.
  • Implement and monitor selling strategies agreed upon by the hotel to maximize revenue, including the proper application of rate restrictions.
  • Manage the hotel's inventory and pricing on a daily basis across all channels.
  • Take the lead in training, motivating, and following up with Reservation Agent(s).
  • Receive, process, and confirm guest room reservations made by/for clients through various channels, such as phone, email, or reservation systems.
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the hotel’s facilities, including restaurants, bars, spa, and entertainment, to answer guest queries promptly and knowledgeably.
  • Ensure compliance with rate policies and selling strategies. Actively upsell resort facilities like restaurants and spa to guests, following necessary procedures to ensure accurate reservations.

Qualifications

  • A University Degree or Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality/Leisure Management or related field
  • Proven experience as Reservations Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages. Any other languages will be considered as an advantage
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office
