CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected provider of Corporate & Professional Services including Tax, VAT & Accounting to international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Tax Associate to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will work as part of an established team of tax professionals tasked with providing clients with a variety of tax-related services, including preparing tax computations and tax returns as well as assisting with tax compliance work. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics or another relevant field. Any previous experience in a tax focused role is highly desirable with the ability to interpret Financial Statements, although full training will be provided. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English are a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of tax computations of individuals and companies.
• Assist with tax compliance work.
• Providing Tax consulting and advice to clients.
• Analyzing clients’ financial information.
• Advising clients about tax liabilities and other tax-related matters.
• Keeping-up-to date on tax regulations and legislations.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a tax-related role is highly desirable. Training will be given.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Computer literate.
