Voici la Mode Group of Companies is looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join the Accounting Team in its Head Office in Nicosia

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording day-to-day accounting system entries in line with the accounting cycle and procedures of the department
• Handling invoices, expenses, payments, and issuing cheques, as per the instructions given
• Assisting in the performance of bank, supplier, ledger, and intercompany reconciliations
• Communicating with banks, auditors, clients, and vendors
• Preparing petty cash reports
• Performing daily cash reconciliations
• Participating in other accounting-related duties
• Performing any other duties that may be assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or holder of LCCI Higher
• Previous related accounting experience will be considered an advantage
• Ability to perform successfully under pressure and deadlines
• Strong team player
• Very good knowledge of MS Office – Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Navision) would be considered an advantage
• Excellent command of written and spoken Greek and English languages
