Career Opportunity
We seek to recruit an Internal Auditor for Baker Tilly South East Europe Region, to be based in our Nicosia Office. The position will be reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
Having responsibility for all internal audit matters of the region (incl., offices in Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, and Moldova).
Preparing and executing an internal audit plan, as agreed with the Board.
Preparing and submitting relevant regular and ad hoc reports to the Board.
Submitting suggestions for improvement.
Maintaining and developing excellent working relationships with colleagues across the region.
Undertake any other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Board.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or in any other related field
Holder of a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA or ACA).
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification will be considered an advantage.
At least 5 years of related work experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Computer literacy, with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Planning and organizational skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
