CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies with diverse business interests including Information Technology, Marketing & Online Gaming, we are seeking to recruit a Data Analyst to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for analyzing large, complex data sets representing the behaviour of millions of online players to address strategic and operational business questions and decisions. You will be educated to degree level in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics or another relevant field and possess approximately 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant data analysis role, gained working for either a Forex or other Technology-driven company.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of game analysis cycle: define, investigate, and analyze game events, perform initial quality assurance checks and visualize results.
• Analyzing large, complex data sets representing the behaviour of millions of players to address strategic and operational business questions.
• Provide actionable recommendations from game data to shape features, game economy, and future product roadmaps.
• Identify and communicate key trends and potential development improvements.
• Manage multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Key Skills/Experience:

• BA/BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics or another quantitative field.
• Approximately 2+ years of experience in a Data Analysis role, gained working for either a Forex or other Technology-driven company.
• A methodological approach for data with the ability to present the data clearly and efficiently to support business decisions.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent Excel/Google spreadsheet skills, including pivoting capabilities.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to query data in order to evaluate ongoing player behaviour and interests in relation to game features.
• Ability to effectively communicate data results and related conclusions.
• Team-player with excellent initiative and motivation.
• Great organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) will be considered an advantage.
