CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an award winning CySEC Regulated Investment Firm with offices in Larnaca, we are seeking to recruit a Back-End Development Team Leader to join their growing team. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of less experienced Software Development professionals, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring that all development projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. You will need to be educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related field and possess proven experience with at least one of the following development languages: Python, C#, C++, Rust and/or Bash. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of Back-End projects.
• Work closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, stakeholders, and a talented group of Back-End developers in a highly collaborative and autonomous environment.
• Follow best practices in Back-End development, delivering high-quality code that meets the needs of both internal and external customers.
• Coach and mentor team members, helping them grow and develop as Back-End developers.
• Oversee the development process using Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related field.
• Passionate about Back-End development and creating outstanding software solutions.
• Expert knowledge of Back-End development technologies and frameworks such as Python, C#, C++, Rust and/or Bash.
• Very good knowledge of micro-service architecture.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excitement working with cutting-edge technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
• Desire to be part of a team that creates innovative and impactful software solutions.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
