CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a revolutionary FMCG company, dedicated to building a healthier, more environmentally friendly and sustainable way of food production, we are seeking to a Senior Sales Specialist to join their growing team based in Cyprus. Your primary objective will be to develop a deep understanding of our clients products, industry and competitors, allowing you to cultivate and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets. You will lead, manage and mentor less experienced members of the Sales Team and work closely with Marketing and Product Development teams. You will need to possess a proven track record in Sales and/or Business Development within a B2B environment, ideally from the Food & Beverage, Retail and/or FMCG sectors and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with knowledge of Greek preferable. This role involves international travel to help promote the brand and its products and drive revenue. Our client is able to offer a competitive base salary, along with a highly attractive commission structure to the right candidate. Onsite, Hybrid and/or Remote working conditions within Cyprus are available.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of products, the industry and competitors in order to capitalise on new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate sales teams to meet targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Team on client needs and activations.
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads, identify, build and proactively expand the pipeline of partners.
  • Build out the process and funnel for manual high level reachout, onboarding, activation, and expansion.
  • Evangelize the product and personally help close the largest deals.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with each client, be that trusted go-to person.
  • Coordinate with market owners to onboard clients, up-sell, cross sell and align market activities.
  • Travel to partners to pitch, cook and negotiate deals.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience in B2B Sales in the field of F&B.
  • Experience in Frozen Food and Plant-Based products is considered a plus.
  • Independent, proactive, ambitious and self-motivated with a proven track record of always learning and growing.
  • Adventurous mindset, agile approach.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities, both in person and on video calls.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
  • Understanding of how to position products against competitors and ability to articulate the distinct aspects of the products.
  • Willingness to travel and to work in a rapidly changing and growing organization.
  • Fluent in English and preferably Greek. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Pipedrive, or HubSpot), proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, experience with Shopify, Monday, Slack is ideal.
  • Knowledge and network in the retail sector and in the world of food.
