Explore BDSwiss in an 8-week summer internship program (12th of June and until 4th of August) specifically designed for students within the final year of an undergraduate degree or towards a postgraduate degree with a key focus in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.

We’re on a mission to find the best talent out there and add an enthusiastic intern eager to learn more about our career opportunities within our Infrastructure and Security Department through an extensive on-the-job learning program based in Limassol or Nicosia.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in designing, implementing, and maintaining network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Monitoring network activity and analyzing network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Analysing and evaluating network security controls and making recommendations for improvements.
• Participating in incident response procedures and assisting in the investigation of security incidents.
• Assisting in the implementation of network security policies and procedures.
• Keeping up to date with the latest trends and techniques in network security.

Requirements:

• Currently in the final year of an undergraduate degree or towards a postgraduate degree with a key focus on Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Minimum expected grade:

• Understanding of basic networking concepts, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or C++ will be considered a plus.
• Familiarity with common cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Great command of the English language (written and spoken).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Can-do spirit with the ability to work effectively and collaborate within a team.
• High enthusiasm for the field of interest.
