CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a recently established company offering Data Analytics to the Real Estate Sector across Europe, we are seeking to recruit a Financial Data Analyst to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading data analysis projects and presenting data-driven insights to private equity funds, financial institutions, corporations and high net-worth individuals, in order to improve and create innovative products and services. You will identify, collect, analyse and interpret data, presenting it in a clear, concise and compelling manner. Our client is seeking a candidate with approximately 2+ years of relevant professional experience in a data-driven role, with advanced skills with MS Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential and knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collects, cleans, and transforms large datasets from various sources.
• Performs data analysis using software and tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and insights.
• Creates data visualizations and reports using software and tools such as Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Develops and maintains data models and databases.
• Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities, submitting suggestions to the head of department.
• Conducts ad-hoc analyses and generates reports as needed by the team.
• Prepares and delivers presentations internally to the company, clients and/or investors in a clear and compelling way.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Management, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related field.
• Between 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with data analysis software and tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and R.
• Project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage.
• Computer literacy, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (incl. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Knowledge of statistics.
