CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding International Information Technology company with regional offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a number of Senior Java Developers to join their team. The successful applicants will ideally possess 7+ years of professional software development experience, ideally working with Java or any other OOP language. Excellent communication skills in English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop components of a real time platform for the automated interception, analysis and visualisation of radio signals.
• Implement systems based on distributed and scalable Java architectures.
• Analyse, draft and design complex modules and components from functional and non-functional requirements.
• Realise maintainable and reusable high-quality software modules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other members of the Group.
• Find simple solutions for complex problems.
• Share knowledge through code reviews and coach younger team members.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• BSc / MSc in the areas of Computer Science related fields.
• Passionate about coding and software development.
• Enjoy working as a team player in an agile environment.
• 7+ years of professional experience in creating complex software systems using:
  • Clean Code, TDD, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, UML.
  • Parallel processing and concurrency.

• Willing to learn and continuously grow.
• Strong knowledge of Java SE (8) or any other OOP language.
• Knowledge in the below would be considered an advantage:
  • Java frameworks like Spring, Eclipse RCP, Mockito.
  • Tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube.
  • Agile practices like Scrum and XP.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Scrum Master abilities and interest to develop them would be considered an advantage.
