CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Research & Development company with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a QA Automation Engineer to join their expanding team of professionals. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2+ years’ commercial experience in Software QA/Testing and possess excellent communication skills in English.

Role Overview:
 
The QA team ensures quality of releases and a great customer experience of the products. S/he will continuously collaborate with all parties in a project to ensure excellence in execution, development, and delivery; and will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• BSc Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Telecommunications.
• 2+ years’ commercial experience in Software QA/Testing.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies.
• Analyse business requirements, create test cases and test conditions.
• Experience writing and executing test plans.
• Work closely with development team to analyse and resolve defects.
• Post production deployment validations.
• Implementation of automated test scenarios.
• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of Selenium test automation with Python Behave Framework.
• Basic Linux usage and Networking skill.
• Usage of JIRA for defect tracking.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication.
• Excellent oral and verbal skills in English.
• Customer Service and Support experience is an advantage.
• Eager to learn and continuously improve.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
