Collaborate with business units in Client Services and Media Operations to understand the collective needs of cross-functional teams.

What will your job look like?

• Understand business priorities and prioritize accordingly

• Drive product development of scalable and efficient media asset workflow tooling

• Map content lifecycle and facilitate the adoption of best practices, the implementation of automated workflows where possible, without sacrificing business priorities, user requirements, or quality of customer experience

• Troubleshoot production issues; document remediation steps and educate users, or capture bug/defect/enhancement requirements and translate conditions of satisfaction for software development

• Write feature and user stories for the relevant product(s) backlog(s)

All you need is...

• Experience with SQL and noSQL databases; corresponding data query syntax

• Experience with REST APIs

• Advanced understanding of data design, editorial metadata, technical metadata, video file formats, codecs, and containers, audio configuration, video localization (closed captioning, subtitles, dubbed audio), physical media formats, EIDR data model, best practices in media and information security -- as it pertains to digital asset management, media storage and archival, media processing, and content delivery

• Advanced understanding of SLAs and contractual language and obligations

• Previous experience managing and creating tickets in Jira in a product owner / product management capacity

• Agile Certification or relevant work experience
