WE ARE HIRING - APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST NICOSIA / CYPRUS

marcus evans, the world’s leading producer of business events, has a fantastic opportunity for a talented 2nd line application support analyst to join our application development team working from our Nicosia office.

You will be providing support to our global user base with all aspects of our software, performing proactive monitoring and reacting to issues as they arise. You will also have the opportunity to help steer the progress of new and existing projects.

THE ROLE – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•  Monitoring and taking ownership of new issues assigned by first line support
•  Ensuring SLA’s are adhered to
• Provide an effect, approachable conduit between our users and the application development team

YOUR PROFILE – QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Communicate effectively to users of all skill levels
•  Manage and take responsibility for issues
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Experience of MySQL/SQL Server
• Exposure to any dotnet language
•  An understanding of IIS and/or Nginx
•  A very high level of English
•  A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
• A detail-oriented and deadline-driven performer
