Position: Brokerage Officer – Single Stocks Specialist

Reports To: Head of Brokerage

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Monitors the functioning of all trading systems and platforms
• Monitors the streaming of stocks pricing throughout the whole of the US stock market session ensuring it is in line with market participants and exchanges
• Executes client’s transactions as and when they are requested
• Assists clients and colleagues with queries regarding stock trading and other instruments available for use by the client
• Monitors the flow of transactions of all HF Markets clients
• Reconcile the orders executed on an continuous basis
• Monitors activity in major stock markets on a continuous basis
• Highlights critical markets events and corporate actions that have the potential to considerably move stock market prices
• Investigates and resolves client complaints and requests regarding stocks trading
• Liaise with internal and external parties in regards to the pricing and execution of orders
• Investigates irregular transactions of clients and potential abuse
• Monitors competitors and their reactions t­o major stock market events
• Performs competitive analysis and highlight potential improvements and new market trends in regards to single stocks market
• Creates analysis reports related to client trading activity on stocks products on demand
• Monitors clients withdrawals and ensure funds originate from valid trading activity
• Offers training for dealers to carry out their duties effectively
• Carries out any further duties assigned by their line manager
• Contributes to a positive and dynamic working environment­­

REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree in Economics/Finance or similar
• Experience within the FX industry and CySEC certifications would be considered an advantage
• Candidate should have minimum 2 years’ experience working on a stocks trading desk.
• Working hours will be from 4 PM to 12:30 Cyprus time. USA Stock Market Hours.
