On behalf of our client, a well-established international Shipmanagement company in Limassol is looking for a motivated Crew Operator to join the Crewing Department.  The suitable candidate must be able to provide services to the maritime industry, ensuring that work gets completed efficiently and effectively.

Job Description:

• Arranging and monitoring travel arrangements for seafarers, including flight bookings, and keeping seafarers updated regarding their schedule;
• Liaising with the Visa & Travel Department in regards to the visa requirements and ensuring that all documents are valid prior departure of seafarers;
• Preparing Flag State requirements of seafarers;
• Assisting in the deployment of seafarers;
• Informing the team regarding the document status;
• Maintaining seafarer records and updating documents in crew system based on competence matrix, seafarer’s information and other necessary requirements;
• Updating contracts;
• Scanning and filling crewing documents in an organized manner.

Person Specification:

• Bachelor’s degree or educational diploma from a recognized institute;
• At least 1-year seagoing experience or experience in the maritime industry;
• Excellent knowledge and experience of MS Office;
• Computer literate;
• Advanced knowledge of English language;
• Strong communication and organizational skills, and attention to details.
