On behalf of our client, a leading provider of premium courses, professional and executive education, eLearning and tailored learning solutions with a strong emphasis on the financial and professional services sector, we are currently seeking to recruit a number of talented part-time Tutors who are passionate about education, are highly motivated and have a commitment to learner achievement, to be based in the Nicosia Campus.  

The Position

You will be responsible for the use of innovative techniques to inspire learners for motivating learners to raise their ambitions and realize their full potential.  You will work with students in small groups to help them to become confident, independent learners. Additionally, you will assist them by clarifying course content and offering study skills tips, test taking strategies, and general encouragement and support. You will be expected, amongst other, to:

• Deliver AAT / Accountancy qualifications Levels: Foundation, Advanced and Professional
• Deliver classroom / group-based training to learners
• Prepare, plan and deliver quality learning and ensure timely and accurate completions in line with company procedures and timescales
• Provide guidance, support and encouragement to learners throughout their journey
• Provide progress feedback to learners and provide support to ensure they meet their set objectives
• Organize and maintain documentation on learners' progress
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs
• Support, advise and motivate learners

Requirements

• Possess an accounting qualification (AAT, IAB, ACCA, CIMA or similar) and/or a University Degree in Accounting
• Previous related experience in an Accounting role
• A Teaching Qualification will be considered as an advantage
• Have a keen interest in helping people develop new skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile
