The team 

The successful candidate will be joining PwC Investment Services (Cyprus), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PwC Cyprus, which is a Cyprus Investment Firm authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). 

Joining our team will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a high calibre and dynamic team of professionals, including investment bankers, wealth advisers and financial analysts providing a variety of services, such as research & analysis, independent investment advice and risk management, adding tangible value to our clients.

Main responsibilities 

• Monitor the Cypriot economy and global markets on an ongoing basis to stay current with any macro/political/sectoral developments
• Compile data using diverse information sources, analyse data in an objective manner, and produce high-quality and to-the-point research
• Overall responsibility and accountability for the quality and timeliness of the project deliveries, resource management, technical support for team members and communication of the progress to the Managing Director
• Meet/arrange calls with clients to provide an overview of the Cypriot and global economy and relevant developments
• Promote and represent the department both internally and externally and raise awareness of our Research & Analysis services
• Assist and produce presentations and relevant documentation for other PwC Investment Services’ departments
• Support PwC Cyprus in ad hoc tasks, assist in the preparation of various reports, requests or other client projects

What we are looking for 

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or in a related field
• 2 - 4 years of experience with exposure in research, analysis and report writing
• Attention to detail, accuracy and proofreading skills
• Ability to notice patterns within statistics
• Confident presentation skills
• Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast paced dynamic environment, with an ability to take initiative, solve problems and deliver results
• Curious and innovative mindset easily adaptable to new challenges
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
• Confident, articulate and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools, and of Google Docs Editors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Greek
