We are looking for a Project Manager for the Software Development Department who will be tasked in monitoring and controlling software development business projects throughout their life cycle to deliver the most effective and efficient solution in terms of quality, time and cost.

Job Description

• Monitoring and reporting business project requirements
• Collaborate with Developers and Business Analysts on all elements of the Projects being handled
• Using appropriate project monitoring and reporting systems to provide a professional and effective project management service to both
• internal customers and key stakeholders
• Working with Head of Development to agree on processes and policies related to Software Development Projects
• Implementing agreed processes across the department
• Monitoring and adherence to project timelines and delivery requirements
• Ensure solutions are best value in line with strategy and requirements
• Facilitate continuous planning process
• Work with business units to manage and prioritise portfolios
• Analyse potential solutions to estimate value to the organisation and ROI
• Work with software development teams to resolve problems and improve service levels

Your Profile

• Educated to degree level in related subject (Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field) or able to demonstrate significant relevant experience
• Prince 2 project management experience or equivalent experience in project management methodologies
• Demonstrable experience (2-3 years) of working on complex concurrent projects in the IT sector (Agile environment, e.g. scrum or kanban)
• The role holder must be organised and methodical, performing all tasks in a structured manner
• Good technical experience/background
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and organisational skills and capable of working under pressure
• Knowledge of a software development language (would be beneficial)
• Excellent communication skills to ensure that all correspondence (verbal or written) is clear, concise and accurate
• Excellent command of English (knowledge of Greek would be a plus).
