The Position 

Rental Management Supervisor

 

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Altamira Real Estate Asset Management and Portfolio Team which manages the largest portfolio of rental contracts in Cyprus and will report directly to the Rental Manager. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervision and coordination of the Rental Management teams

  • Collaboration with Management/Portfolio owners for the development of Rental Management and Rent Collection strategies

  • Coordination with sales team and Asset Repositioning team for the implementation of Asset Management strategies

  • Evaluation of current and prospective tenants

  • Monitoring of arrears and recovery management actions

  • Provision of effective collection management advice aiming to maximize rental recoveries and eliminate any financial burdens

  • Coordination and guidance of legal advisors towards the course of legal actions deemed necessary and provision of advice and assistance over arrear disputes

  • Preparation of cases for presentation at court and maintenance of records of litigation process outcomes

  • Coordination with Finance Department for rent collection and relevant to rental income taxes and provisioning

  • Development and maintenance of Rental Management policies and procedures

  • Development and maintenance of a discrete Performance Monitoring Framework

 

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Business Administration/Accounting/Finance, or in a related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity

  • A recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) will be considered as an advantage

  • Work experience in a company with an exposure to the Real Estate Market will be considered as an advantage

  • High Levels of integrity and work ethic

  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills

  • Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Pleasant and trustworthy

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)

  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language both verbal and written  

 

Location
The position is for Altamira’s Offices in Nicosia
