CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Group of Companies with diverse business interests, including Private Equity, we are seeking to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller to join their growing team in Larnaca. The successful applicant will be a full member of the ACCA/ACA/CPA and hold previous and demonstrable experience in a similar position. Proven financial monitoring experience ideally relating to Real Estate, Construction and/or Infrastructure related projects will be considered highly advantageous.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

• Reporting of the company's finances.
• Bookkeeping of Company & related entities.
• Working with the authorities and financial institutions (banks, insurance, etc.).
• Working with relevant entities in a company/subsidiaries or related/external consultants in the field.
• Assisting with financial operations, including Financial data, financial statements, analysis and reports.
• Analysis of the financial structure of the company's activities and a recommendation on ways to improve it.
• Participation in due diligence processes and business plans for the company's projects and activities.
• Building relevant monitoring & control tools suitable for the company's line of business and management needs.
• Assisting with Cash flow management for the company to ensure ongoing smooth operations.
• Handling company's cash balances in order to optimize returns while minimizing risks.
• Managing and control of the Company’s credit lines / bank guarantees.
• Continuous creation of optimal financing alternatives for the company.
• Company risk review and control: credit risks, insurance events, anti-embezzlement, currency exchange rates, contract surveys and liabilities.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• Ideally Educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field.
• Full member of a relevant accounting body (ACCA, ACA, CPA).
• Proven financial monitoring experience ideally relating to Real Estate, Construction and/or Infrastructure related projects.
• Experience working for an International/Multinational company will be considered an advantage.
• Experience in an entrepreneurial company/culture would be highly advantageous.
• Project finance experience – Advantage.
• Experience in International Taxation – Advantage.
