Education: University Degree in Electrical Engineering

Certifications: Licensed Electrical Engineer

Software: MS Office, AutoCAD

Skills: Good knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings; Good knowledge of electrical & instrumentation installations in an industrial setting; Sense of responsibility and commitment

Experience: 5+ years

Languages: English, Greek

Job Summary

This position is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities for the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation and control systems. It also includes the management of possible electrical subcontractors.

Job Specification

• Establishes work plan for the tasks/activities/project phase he is assigned to and ensures resource and manpower availability
• Ensure good workmanship for tasks/activities assigned to
• Coordinates project phase/task activities
• Manages subcontractor by distributing documents, supervising his construction activities and monitoring his progress
• Assigns work to foremen in his field/project phase
• Ensure Inspection & Test Plan requirements are met
• Responsible for the receipt/utilization of materials and consumables for the project phase/task assigned to
• Ensures that machinery/equipment/tools used by his team meet statutory requirements and are maintained as per manufacturer’s instructions
• Actively participate at site meetings
• Reviews and approves personnel timesheets
• Maintains records as per company’s instructions and contract requirements
• Responsible for effective housekeeping in his sector
• Strive to continuously improve the company’s performance
• Be aware of legislation and regulation changes that affect the company
• Strictly follows the company, clients and relevant legislation health, safety and environment regulations and briefs personnel accordingly
• Ensure that personnel strictly follow company’s, client’s and relevant legislation’s health, safety and environment regulations
