Prime Property Group is willing to enlarge its internal staff and is currently looking for a Procurement and Contract Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with the Contract Manager & Project Manager for following up the Procurement Schedule
• Assist procurement, prepare and review procurement packages
• Coordinates and consolidates requests for permanent materials to negotiate the most advantageous terms
• Prepares Purchase Orders / Sub-contract Agreement as per approved submittal and material service request sent by the site
• Completes the Purchase Order’s attachment, comparison sheet, and material files for review
• Completes the Contract Agreement attachment, comparison sheet, and material files for review
• Evaluates whether suppliers are capable of consistently delivering products and services in a timely manner and within required quality standards
• Searches for, identifies, and establishes contacts with new suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare Subcontractors interim payment evaluation
• Set up and update suppliers’ and subcontractors’ database

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering field
• Minimum 8+ years’ experience in procurement in a construction/contracting firm
• Fluent verbal and written Greek and English it is a must.
• Good knowledge of Construction Contracts
• Previous experience with subcontractors’ payments management
• Experience in takeoffs
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel - advanced user)
