Modern C++ Software Developer

The position:

We are looking for a Modern C++ Software Developer to join our IT team.  

 

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Developing standalone applications and plug-ins in C++
  • Creating tools for reporting on trading data
  • Creating protocols for communication between applications
  • Writing unit-tests, end-to-end tests and stress testing
  • Communicating with the team to identify business requirements
  • Understanding business requirements and developing systems/features to meet them
  • Sharing knowledge throughout the team

 

Main requirements:

 

  • BSc/MSc in Computer science or a related subject
  • 2+ years’ experience in any object-oriented language
  • Knowledge of and an active interest in object-oriented principles, practices and design patterns
  • Willingness to work with and learn modern C++ and asynchronous programming
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with unit-testing
  • Knowledge of any of the following would be a plus: Boost ASIO, FIX protocol, MetaTrader API, asynchronous programming, profiling
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Verbal and written knowledge of English
