Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a well established ship management and ship owning  organisation, seeks to recruit a Crew Trainer;

Responsibilities:
Provide crew with trainings as required by the training program- virtual or class room based
Conduct pre joining Induction briefings and company specific trainings
Arrange shore based or online courses and regular communication with crew and vessels
Screen and interview new crew or process and interview in house promotions
Cadet management- selection, monitoring and mentoring
Develop crew training content as guided by head of department
Admin functions, to follow up with onboard and shore crew trainings.
Data entry and certificate managements of courses provided

Qualifications:
Master/Chief Mate level
Active/recently retired,  or no more than 3 years gap in sea going experience (dry cargo is fine, but tanker preferred)
Very experienced Junior officers with the right attitude, can also be considered
Good Communicator and possesses good teaching skills and mannerism
Good IT knowledge of handling common business software (experience creating training media content, considered an advantage)
Right mindset and attitude
A genuine interest to teach and train people
Fluent spoken and written English
Candidate can be based in any country in EU
