Job Description

We are looking to strengthen our team in Limassol, Cyprus with a talented Senior Software Developer.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining the existing platform, expand with new features and payment integrations

Responsibilities

• Produce clean, well-documented, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Integrations with 3rd party payment, gaming, and other providers.
• Work with all parts of the system and all stages of the development process, including integrations with external systems, development of internal components and subsystems and potentially also front-end development for mobile and desktop devices
• Develop and implement new features
• Work with technologies including Java 8, Docker, Maven, PostgreSQL, React, Tapestry, GraphQL
• Keep up to date about new technologies and solutions and let the team know about new suggestions and initiatives
• Communicate with internal colleagues and external providers

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience working with Java/J2EE technologies
• High level of understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTFul web-services
• Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (Postgresql, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Knowledge on React, jQuery, and RequireJS
• Proficient understanding of software development tools such as Git and Gitlab
• Experience in an Agile environment using Scrum
• High proficiency of English language
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and reporting skills
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills
