Varnavas Hadjipanayis Ltd is seeking to recruit Scientific Support and Application specialist.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing scientific support and application development and solutions to all the clinical diagnostic laboratories in Cyprus. Customer visits on a daily basis will be a normal activity
Requirements
- University Graduate, preferably a Bachelor’s Degree and a Postgraduate Degree in the field of Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Diagnostics or a relevant field.
- The ability to undertake customer training (operators training) and follow-up support in diagnostic instrumentation.
- The ability to find and discuss solutions with customers and provide customer specific support.
- Excellent communication skills to discuss issues with customers and suppliers in an amicable and respectful manner, representing the employer to the highest degree of professionalism.
- Enthusiasm, dynamism and the ability to operate within a team
- Good organizational skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on delivering results
- High ethical standards, trustful, integrity, passion for their work, assertive personality.
- Fluency in both English and Greek, written and spoken
- A 4+ year experience in the field of scientific and applications support in Clinical Diagnostics is a must. Further experience and specific diagnostic skills will be considered an advantage
- A valid Cypriot driving license
