 New company in Cyprus offers the opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead the business in Cyprus. We are looking for a responsible professional with integrity, resilience, humility, vision, strategic thinking and creativity who will lead by example, inspiring the business team to create remarkable customer experiences and achieving the desired business targets.

Responsibilities:

• Setting strategic goals and developing strategic operating plans that reflect the priorities and objectives
• Leading the development of the company's short and long-term strategy
• Oversees the operation of the company and directs its strategy towards a profitable growth
• Optimizing and maintaining the operational performance of the company
• Ensuring that all objectives as well as the culture of the organization are clearly understood and owned by everyone who is involved in the organization
• Representing the company to major customers, associates and professional associations, locally and internationally
• Being constantly knowledgeable of the market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments etc
• Ensuring that the company maintains high social responsibility wherever it does business
• Closely monitoring the operating and financial results against plans and budgets
• Building, maintaining and driving an effective team 
• Assessing and monitoring company risks and ensuring that these are minimized

• Fluent in Greek and English. Russian will be considered an advantage.

Education and Experience:

• Higher education in business management, leadership, economics. Education or experience in matters of astronomy, culture and art, education, legal will be considered an advantage.
• Business background with high commercial experience and a good financial knowledge, preferably with strong background in tourism and hospitality.
• At least 5 years experience in senior management positions.
