Our client is a Global Shipping Services Company and they are looking to hire a Technical Manager to join their team based in Limassol.

Responsibilities:

• In charge of the technical activities & maintenance operations of the company's fleet.
• Supervising the technical team
• Overseeing daily operations of the ships
• On-going & dry dock maintenance & repairs, budgeting, internal and external audits, surveys, etc.

Requirements:

• University Degree in Marine Engineering or any other relevant degree.  
• Minimum ten years of experience as Technical Manager or Technical Superintendent in a shipping company
• Experience with tanker ship management will be considered as an advantage 
• Minimum three years of sea-going experience 
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills 
• Team player and team-building ability
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong English and good Greek communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong computer literacy
