CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a newly established CySEC Licensed Investment Firm with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a suitably well-qualified and experienced Executive Director to join their expanding team of professionals. The successful applicant will have previous and demonstrable experience within a similar capacity and will ideally hold the CySEC Advanced Certification.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 
 

• Assist with the setting up of the office in Cyprus.
• Manage and supervise the local operations in Cyprus.
• Regularly Reporting to the Companies owners.
• Lead, review, monitor and guide the company's compliance policies and regulatory reporting.
• Follow CYSEC’s circulars and develop and periodically review and update Standards of Conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to employees.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• University Degree in Law, Finance or Economics.
• Previous experience in a similar position (director or compliance or risk, or a legal role) in a CYSEC regulated company is an advantage.
• CySEC Advanced Certificate an advantage.
• Excellent managerial skills.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Fluency in the Russian language would be an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills and  strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communicating skills.
