CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding Group of Companies with diverse business interests including Financial Technology, we are seeking to recruit a highly capable, dynamic and suitably well-qualified VP of Finance to join their team of professionals in Limassol. The successful applicant will be a full member of the CPA/ACA/ACCA and have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a senior finance role.  

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement approved finance and administrative objectives, strategies, policies and plans for the Company, to allow achievement of its business goals.
• Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization.
• Initiate analytical financial reviews and commentary in key parts of the business, either on an ad-hoc basis or as directed by the Global CFO, CEO or Board.
• Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, compliance and financial procedures.
• Implement ERP system.
• Supervise the preparation of financial statements, management accounts and other financial reports, in accordance with company, legal and regulatory requirements and timetables for both the investment and corporate activities.
• Ensure financial risks are properly understood and managed.
• Manage Cash Flows and ensure funds availability.
• Liaise with external service providers such as external auditors, banks etc...
• Direct management of 2 Controllers and 3 bookkeepers.
• Overview of Finance Team in each office location.

Key Skills/Experience:

• CPA/ACCA/ACA Qualification is a must.
• Previous experience as a Controller (at least 3 years) in a global company with interfaces with several countries.
• Experience in matrix management – an advantage.
• Control and management of multi-currency systems.
• Experience in implementing an ERP system - an advantage.
• Knowledge in NETSUITE – An advantage.
• Knowledge of international taxation.
• English at a very high level.
• Business oriented.
• Excellent managerial skills.
• Flexible thinking and great problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical capabilities.
