Company Description:

On behalf of our Client, a Real Estate – Developing Company, we are seeking to recruit a high caliber professional for the position of Quantity Surveyor, to be based at our client’s offices in Protaras.

Job Duties:

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for measuring quantities of the required materials and liaising with sub-contractors for quotations. His/her tasks will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

• Preparation of cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates and materials required for the project
• Assisting in the preparation of tenders and contract documents
• Selection and sourcing of the required construction materials
• Provision of advice on procurement strategy and assist in establishing client’s requirements
• Performance of risk, value management and cost control analysis
• Regular monitoring to ensure that client requirements are delivered at the expected level within the agreed project budget
• Regular liaising with the Procurement Manager, Project Manager, Site Engineer and other stakeholders
• Preparation of end project reports regarding the final total cost to initial budgets
• Maintain accurate records and advise on any remaining outstanding contractual claims

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Cost Management or in any other related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Cyprus Construction/Real Estate Market
• Proficiency in the English and Greek languages
• Good knowledge of Supply Chain Management
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple assignments efficiently
