Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a  ship-owning/ship management company, is looking to recruit a Qualified ACCA/ACA Vessel Accountant in Limassol;

Responsibilities:

• Handling a portfolio of ship-owning and / or other special purpose companies
• Bookkeeping entries
• General month-end closing entries (accruals / prepayments / depreciation)
• Bank Reconciliations
• Intercompany Reconciliations
• Maintaining Fixed Asset Records
• Assisting in the finalization of month-end management accounts
• Assisting in the Year-end audit processes
• Ad hoc tasks as directed by Accounts Supervisor

Requirements:

• University / College degree in Accounting & Finance and / ACCA/ACA or other equivalent qualification
• At least 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent command of the English languages
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (and in particular MS Excel)
• Previous experience in the Shipping Industry will be considered an advantage
